BIOGRAPHY

After having studied Interior Architecture in Hannover, Lauffs lived and worked in New York. However, during her studies she discovered a passion for photogrpahy and  increasingly dedicated herself to it once she returned to Germany. 

Silke Lauffs photographs as she travels and tries to capture rare moments and atmospheres. Morning hours, in which landscapes are still inanimate, give to her panoramic photographs a foggy, mystical and sometines melancholic expression.
