BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in England, Nick Brandt has had solo exhibitions of his work across Europe and North America - in New York, Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Hamburg, Munich, Santa Fe, San Francisco and Sydney.

His first book of photographs, "On This Earth - Photographs from East Africa" was published by Chronicle Books in 2005, with introductions by Jane Goodall and Alice Sebold ("The Lovely Bones"). His next book of photographs, "A Shadow Falls", will be published worldwide in October 2009.

A vision of Africa unlike any that has come before, Brandt's work is a passionate elegy to a vanishing world.
